My Story

Sewing and designing has been a passion of mine since childhood. I created my first bridesmaids dresses for a wedding before graduating high school. I had developed a portfolio of my own patterns and customized apparel by the time I was twenty. I graduated from The Art Institute with a a bachelors in Fashion and Retail Management.

After 25 years of working and building my skill in this industry I have had substantial experience with bridal, prom, and formal wear, as well as men’s and children’s clothing. I have also collaborated with many experienced seamstresses and entrepreneurs across Northeast of America.

I started my own business DesChelle LLC in 2015 and created my newest clothing brand Vivaer Apparel in 2021. Working for myself has always been a priority and has given me the flexibility to pursue unique and interesting clothing techniques not commonly practiced by many within the industry.

My favorite part about what I do is helping people feel great in their clothing.
