Hey everyone,
My name is Chelle. I am the designer for Vivaer apparel and owner of DesChelle LLC. Throughout my blog I am going to give you an opportunity to get behind the scenes of my business. I will also be talking about how I developed my personal wardrobe and style.
Although I have always had a passion for it, I never expected to be the kind of person people came to for fashion advice. I learned to sew as a child and started designing my own patterns during the end of high school. I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, so my natural love to learn new skills helped to push me along in my craft. Through the use of the library and eventually the internet I built my skills over a period of many years.
A young marriage allowed me the opportunity to travel around the east coast following my ex-husband’s work. With each move I gained new skills through different sewing jobs. Eventually we divorced but I continued to pursue my love of fashion. After a divorce I fell in love with a man who truly supported my work. I have begun to build a healthy business and life with him.
Through the years It has been hard to find a wardrobe that truly worked for my personality and lifestyle. My goal in this blog is to help you find that for yourself. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story.
